LYRICS: Look at the ground and see the grass underneath the trees. Feel the wind upon your skin. Breathe in and taste the chilling air. We built up everything here. The rivers clean the sky so clear. Time keeps ticking on as we change gray to blue. So long we came along. With heavy breath we carried on. We’re almost there, this is where we belong. We’ve been out of sight and the goal seemed to pass us by. Growing stronger, fully recovered, we are still alive. Where wasteland was - we now see new life here being born. What was once has now been lost, has been found and finally brought up again. Gradually manifesting within the will to constantly create. Time keeps ticking on, we won’t forget what we once knew. [So long we came...] Welcome to the new age. This is a new age. Where once wasteland was - new life will be born. [We’ve been out of...] This is the new age.

ABOUT THE BAND

In the midst of the banal daily grind, we now find the sounds of musical compositions that were thought to be dead and that are sorely missed by many listeners of a generation that is now older. Founded during the second lockdown in 2021, the three-piece band STRANGER OCEAN started composing songs in remote mode. The resulting musical material is technically demanding, richly structured and, thanks to the vocals of interim singer Chris Kerley from London, who joined in 2023, open and accessible to every listener. Fans of bands like Incubus, Tool, Korn, A Perfect Circle or Karnivool will definitely get their money's worth with STRANGER OCEAN.
